Thanks to You, NAFSA 2026 Was a Huge Success!

To everyone who supported our refugee women entrepreneurs at NAFSA 2026, thank you. Because of your generosity and belief in their potential, 12 refugee women were able to participate in the Artisan Bazaar.

We’re also sharing highlights from the experience below, including LinkedIn posts that capture their stories, products, and impact.

The women showcased and sold handcrafted goods, connected with attendees from around the world, earned income for their families, and gained meaningful exposure for their growing businesses. Several are now shipping products to new customers, others have received contract opportunities, and some are in conversations about remote work roles.

The impact went far beyond sales. New relationships were formed, confidence grew, and long-term opportunities began to take shape.

We’re excited to share that, as a result of their success at NAFSA 2026, our vendors have been invited to participate in the NAFSA Regional Conference in Dallas, Texas, October 6–9, 2026.

This is a powerful opportunity to expand their customer base, strengthen professional networks, and continue building pathways toward stability, dignity, and economic mobility.

To make this possible, we are raising funds to support 12–15 participating vendors with travel, lodging, meals, and booth costs.

Every contribution directly supports refugee women entrepreneurs in growing their businesses and building sustainable futures for their families.
