EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Impact Report 2025
Together, We Scale Impact
“When people are given a fair chance—not charity, not handouts—they show up with dedication, heart, and impact”
– Anjum Malik
Letter from the Executive Director
Dear Gii Community,
As we reflect on 2025, one phrase continues to return to me: Together, We Scale Impact.
What began as a hopeful idea became something we lived every day, through collaboration, persistence, and a shared belief in human dignity. This year, because of you, our donors, volunteers, partners, board members, global ambassadors, and staff, Global Impact Initiative nearly doubled its reach.
Through our TXOR-funded programs, we grew from serving 875 individuals to 1,654 program enrollments, with an additional 513 individuals supported through other initiatives. Our work reached 11 countries and communities across the United States, reinforcing that impact is both global and deeply local.
But numbers only tell part of the story.
What truly defined 2025 was the strength of the ecosystem surrounding the people we serve. Together, we did not simply expand programs, we strengthened pathways to stability, independence, and opportunity. Over the course of the year, Gii provided more than $1.6 million in direct client assistance, made possible by a community committed to showing up.
More than 150 volunteers contributed over 40,000 hours of service, offering their time, skills, and dedication. Alongside over $300,000 in financial and in-kind contributions, this collective effort translated commitment into meaningful action.
If I had to describe this year in three words, they would be grateful, inspired, and humbled.
From January 28 through March 17, a sudden federal grant freeze disrupted core funding streams and created uncertainty for the families who rely on us. During that period, we focused on remaining present and responsive. With the support of an emergency fundraiser led by Austin Jews & Partners for Refugees (AJPR) and volunteer mobilization by Shalom Austin, we met directly with clients, distributed gift cards, and maintained continuity of support.
Despite these challenges, 2025 was also a year of growth and momentum. We launched Gii Europe, expanded programs and partnerships, and increased the scope of TXOR-funded refugee services to $3.4 million. Members of our board and global ambassador community received national and international recognition for their leadership and service.
We also strengthened governance by welcoming two new board members—one a Certified Public Accountant with extensive nonprofit experience, and the other an attorney whose firm now serves Gii as a pro bono legal partner.
None of this happened in isolation. It happened because of people—people who believe in dignity, who remain engaged during uncertainty, and who understand that sustainable impact is built together.
Thank you for being part of this community. Thank you for your trust. And thank you for scaling impact with us—one individual, one family, and one future at a time.
With gratitude,
Anjum Malik

LOOKING AHEAD
Our Roadmap to 2026
As we move into 2026, Gii is shifting its focus toward two strategic pillars that will define our next chapter of service.
Pillar 1: Beyond Borders: A Global Ecosystem of Support
Scaling impact means recognizing that the challenges our clients face do not stop at national lines. We are evolving from a localized service provider into a truly global system.
Expansion of the European Branch: Building on our 2025 foundation, we are deepening our presence in Europe to better serve the growing global at-risk populations.
A network of 11 countries: Our reach now extends across 11 countries and multiple U.S. cities. Growing
our partnerships around the world to support our mission will remain a top priority.Interconnected services: Whether it is mentoring children, providing English language instruction,
or representing at international conferences, we are building a world where opportunity is accessible regardless of geography.
Pillar 2: Sustainable Growth, Shared Success
To ensure Gii remains a permanent fixture of hope, we are prioritizing financial resilience and collaborative empowerment.
Expansion of the European Branch: Diversifying funding streams: A core focus for 2026 is continuing a sustainable funding pipeline to reduce reliance on federal grants. By focusing on private donations and grants, we ensure that Gii’s growth is driven by a diverse community of supporters.
Strategic Discipline: Following our 2025 success, we will continue working with our strategic planning committee and fundraising professionals to optimize our resource allocation and maintain long-term stability.
The power of partnership: Our success is “shared success.” From workforce development in healthcare to technology access for youth, our impact is multiplied by the trust and shared value of our collaborators.
As our founder Anjum Malik notes,
“Connection is not incidental to impact – it is the catalyst”.
With Gratitude
Thank you to our clients, donors, board members, global ambassadors, volunteers, partners, and supporters. Together, we turned challenges into progress and strengthened the foundation for future impact.
Together, We Scale Impact.
